Fall Festival Straw Maze & Pumpkin Patch!
We’ll begin taking applications on August 1st!
We are looking for fun loving people who love Tubbs Berry Farm and want to join the crew that helps make the fall festival a reality in our community!
You must be at least 16 to apply. If you are a mom looking for some spending money and want to work a few hours a week, a student wanting a flexible short term job, or someone who just wants to spend a few weeks this fall doing something fun for the community, this might be for you! Parents who have little ones and want to bring to work with you, field trips M-TH in October might be just the job for you because we’re closed to the public and it is super flexible. If you’re someone who just wants to work while kids are in school, want to work a few hours after work for fun, just Saturdays, or wants a full time October schedule we can accommodate those schedules as well!
Team members may get a few hours for training and festival set up in September, a few more hours as things open up in September, then get lots of hours in October. Please note, our regular pumpkin patch hours listed on the pumpkin patch page will be Fridays and Saturdays 10-9 in September. In October we will have field trip hours from 8:30-3 M-Th, then pumpkin patch hours 3-9 M-Th and 10-9 Fri-Sat.
Please specify what days/times of the week and how many hours per week you want to work on your application. If you want to work just one day a week, that is fine, let us know when you apply. If you are a mom with little ones and need to bring kids with you during our daytime field trip hours (when we are closed to the public), we can accommodate that. If you are going to have a car that breaks down every day, a grandparent that passes each week, plan on calling in sick at least once a week, or just don’t show up for shifts, please save us all the headache and don’t apply. This is an 8-10 week job, we need go-getters that can learn fast and aren’t afraid to work. If you are not able to work the last 3 Saturdays in October please note that on the application.

Summer Work Crew
(See information and application below if you’ve been referred by Vocational Rehab)
If you are interested in a summer job, apply for our weed crew! Work will mainly be pulling weeds and hoeing, but may include planting, harvesting, and other miscellaneous farm work. We work together as a supervised crew, and while it is hard work, it is also a lot of fun! We work once a week on Wednesday mornings from 7-10 during the summer when school is out.
You must be at least 14 years of age and a good worker. Please note that starting wage is $7/hour, and increases retroactively for good workers. If you are only worth $7/hour, you will not work here long. Work will run June 5 through August 14th. Some additional work may be available during the season for those wanting additional hours but is not required. If you are going to be unavailable for most of the summer work days, there may be better temporary jobs available. Missing a couple is fine, but if you are going to miss more than that this may not be a job for you.
To apply: Download and complete an application and register for an interview using the calendar and links below. Bring your application to your interview. To prepare for an interview you may want to learn about us and what we do and have at least one question to ask us.
Our goal with this program is to teach the process of applying for, getting, and keeping a job. Applicants will be expected to complete the application (please mom, let the kid do it, they can’t fail), schedule and come in for a job interview, complete hiring paperwork on the first day, and participate in evaluations and goal setting throughout the season. You are welcome to bring a parent to your interview if needed. We expect kids to come on time, be ready to work, work hard, and have a good attitude. It can be lots of fun but it will also be work.
We will begin taking applications for 2025 on April 1st!
